Plan recreation together

For generations, volunteers and community organizations have built and maintained many of the playing fields and recreation facilities Sooke relies on.

As our community grows, so does the demand on those facilities. We can't expect volunteers and sports organizations to carry that responsibility alone.

We want to bring the Sooke Community Association, Fred Milne Park Society, sports organizations, SD62, SEAPARC and the District together to look at what we have, what we need, what it costs and who should be responsible for what.

The goal is a clear, sustainable plan that supports our volunteers, protects public investment, and keeps recreation accessible for future generations.

Respect the legacy. Plan for the future.

On October 17, vote Sooke Together: Susan Belford, Brian McHattie, Helen Ritts, and Steve Sorensen for Council.
